The Schaffner NSG2050 is a High Energy Pulse Generator mainframe.
The NSG2050 is intended for executing interference immunity tests with surge pulses as called for in IEC 801-5 and various derivatives such as IEC 1000-4-5, EN 55101-5, IEC 384-14, ANSI/IEEE C62.41, CCITT, FCC Part 68, Bellcore TR-NWT-001089, etc.
It is capable of supplying pulses of up 6.6 kV. Pulse width, pulse repetition rate, and pulse risetime are dependent upon the PNW-series plug-in installed.
