The 250 contains an R-C oscillator stage capable of providing a fixed frequency of 400 Hz, or a continuously variable frequency from 350 to 450 Hz.
The output power amplifier may be driven either from the internal oscillator (requires a plug-in oscillator, sold separately)or from an external source covering the range of 45 to 10,000 Hz.
Inverse feedback in the power amplifier reduces distortion and affords excellent regulation for either resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads.
