The North Atlantic 321A Wideband Phase Angle Voltmeter measures the Total voltage or Fundamental, In-Phase (0 & 180 degree), or Quadrature (90 & 270 degree) magnitude components of the input signal as well as the phase shift in degrees between the reference and signal inputs.
The operating frequency range is from 10 Hz to 100 kHz. Upon selection of frequency range and adjustment of the frequency dial, the 321A automatically searches, filters, and locks the reference input using a unique phase lock loop circuit.
A lock indicator LED indicates in or out-of-lock conditions. The Reference input is isolated and AGC automatically set the correct reference level. Input signals from 300 microvolts to 300 volts are acceptable. Phase nulling sensitivity is 2 microvolts.
