Optional external mixers can be used to extend the upper frequency to 115 GHz.
The 8569B features a digital storage display with on-screen readout of switch settings at the top of the CRT display that keep the operator informed of all switch settings.
Additional features include an internal preselector above 1.7 GHz, LED display of center frequency, and a gpib interface.
