30 kV High Voltage Surge Tester / Winding Analyzer
The iTIG II-HV High Voltage series of the iTIG II is supplied with choice of 24 kV, 30 kV and 40 kV high energy outputs.
The iTIG II-HV B 30kV is designed for those who want Insulation Resistance (megohm), Hipot and High Frequency Surge Comparison tests plus one or more of the following: reporting capability and / or winding resistance measurement.
Like all Electrom iTIG II surge testers and winding analyzers, the Model B is extremely easy to use. Once the operating voltage of the motor is entered, the high frequency surge test is done automatically. There is no need to set voltage range and sweep or time base settings, it is all done by the tester. Surge comparison tests of assembled motors can be done without turning the rotor.
Four-wire milli Ohm Winding Resistance is measured through a six lead Kelvin clamp lead set that plugs into the front panel. Push a button and three measurements are done automatically. Both winding resistance and insulation resistance (megohm) measurements are temperature compensated per IEEE standards if the winding temperature is entered.
Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) measurements are calculated by the instrument.
The instrument can store virtually an unlimited number of test files. TRPro-B reporting software is included. It runs on one or multiple PCs and servers generating professional documents for print or email. Options are available for network/wireless transfer of test data and reports.

Manual or Automated Tests From 24kV to 40kV
The state of the art Electrom iTIG II High Voltage (HV) series provides a wide range of tests to analyze the condition of insulation systems in all types of motors, generators, windings and coils.
The iTIG II-HV Series comes in 4 models with different levels of automated tests and a variety of options similar to the iTIG II (the 4kV to 12kV testers).
The iTIG II-HV can be a fully automatic 40kV unit with all tests from micro Ohm winding resistance to surge tests done through one lead set, the first complete tester of its kind we are aware of on the market.
iTIG II-HV Series Analyzers can be upgraded to higher performance option levels and higher output voltages later if desired by the user.
