The Electrom iTIG II B4 is a 4 kV IR / DC Hipot / Surge Comparison / Winding Analyzer and Motor Tester.
The iTIG II B is used by people who want Insulation Resistance (megohm), Hipot and High Frequency Surge Comparison tests plus one or more of the following: reporting capability and/or winding resistance measurement.
Like all Electrom iTIG II surge testers and winding analyzers, the iTIG II B is extremely easy to use. Once the operating voltage of the motor is entered, the high frequency surge test is done automatically. There is no need to set voltage range and sweep or time base settings, it is all done by the tester. Surge comparison tests of assembled motors can be done without turning the rotor.
Four-wire milliOhm Winding Resistance is measured through a six lead Kelvin clamp lead set that plugs into the front panel. Push a button and three measurements are done automatically. Both winding resistance and insulation resistance (megohm) measurements can be temperature compensated per IEEE standards.
Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) measurements are calculated by the instrument.
The iTIG II B can store virtually an unlimited number of test files. TRPro-B reporting software is included. It runs on one or multiple PCs and servers generating professional documents for print or email. Options are available for network/wireless transfer of test data and reports.

Upgrades: The B model can be field upgraded to a C or fully automatic D model at any time in the future as needed.
