The BFI module accepts the reference signal output by the BFO module in the MFTS system.
When linking reference signals between MFTD systems it is not necessary to install a BFO in a MFTD system that already has a BFI module. An output from one of the MBF or MDP modules will serve as the signal input to the next BFI module in line.
