The Associated Research 6550DT Hypot ULTRA combines an AC and DC Hipot with an insulation resistance tester in a single instrument and comes with IEEE-488 interface (GPIB).
The 6550DT includes an LCD display to monitor test results.
Basic rating of the 6550DT is 0 to 5 kV AC @ 20 mA and 0 to 5 kV DC @ 10 mA.
Provides both Low and High Trip Ranges, Failure Detector, Dwell Timer, and Ramp Timer.
In the insulation resistance test mode, it provides an output voltage range of 100 Volts to 1000 Volts, and resistance metering to 2 Gohms.
