The Associated Research 5220 is a 15 kV DC Hipot Tester. The 5220 primary application is dielectric withstand testing of rotating machinery, transformers, switchgear, and cables for acceptance and routine maintenance in the field.

The 5220 is metered for both voltage and current monitoring with a 0 to 6 kV and 0 to 15 kV voltage range, and 4 overlapping leakage current ranges from 2 uA to 2 mA full scale.
