The 8672S is a synthesized microwave signal generator system operating from 10 MHz to 18.6 GHz.

It has AM and FM modulation and can be externally leveled by detector or power meter.

The system consists of an 8672A Signal Generator married to an 86720A Frequency Extension Unit.

Pulse modulation is available through the 86720A.
