The 2209 is a modular DS1 and DS3 BERT Tester based upon the 2000 Test Pad.

The 2209 features dual receiver monitoring of both transmit and receive simultaneously, advanced timing analysis, and isolation of physical-layer problems without removing unaffected channels.

The 2209 uses a graphical interface and a touch-sensitive screen to facilitate rapid testing. A large screen size permits highly viewable result displays.
