The 83236B PCS Interface extends the TDMA and CDMA capability of the 8920A, 8920B, 8921A, and 8924C Communications Analyzers to the PCS band (1.71 - 1.99 GHz).
Power measurement accuracy and speed are maintained at PCS band frequencies with an internal power meter for measurements on CW, CDMA, and TDMA signals.
The 83236B has no front panel controls and cannot be used manually.
Control of the PCS Interface is via GPIB using an external controller or the Test Set's internal IBASIC controller, or via the serial port by the 8924C whose firmware revision is A.05.00 and above or 8920B option 800 whose firmware revision is B.05.00 and above.
